Initialization

Upon analyzing market trends and assessing liquidity support and interest, Ruckusmarket operators will launch a new prediction market with a full margin requirement. Share prices will range between 0 and 1, with a market margin.

Buy/sell shares

Users can purchase shares to back a specific market outcome. Prices, managed by the Automated Market Maker (AMM), fluctuate between 0 and 1. As more shares of a particular outcome are bought, the price for that outcome's shares increases, while the price for shares of the alternative outcome decreases.

Resolution

After the designated resolution time, the market outcome is determined by an oracle. Once the outcome is confirmed, all buying and selling activities are halted.

Settlement

After the outcome is finalized, it will be reviewed for a period to ensure accuracy. This review period helps prevent incorrect results. Once the review is complete, the market will be settled, and shareholders of the correct outcome will be rewarded.
